Toyota Motor Phil. Achieves Record Breaking Sales in June
Toyota Motor Philippines achieved a milestone after a record-breaking sales in June. TMP has sold 5,096 units in the first half of the year, garnering a 33.6% market share, the highest monthly sales record that the company has achieved this year.
Toyota’s best-seller is the refreshed Vios with 1.3 Liter AT variant which was introduced in April. A total of 1,502 units was sold in the month of June alone and that’s 47.7% share of the Sub-Compact PC segment. The Vios recorded for almost 77% of TMP’s passenger car sales for the first six months of 2010.
Raymond Rodriguez, TMP’s First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations said, “We are grateful for the constant support of our customers to our products, especially to the New Vios, which made this 1,500 sales milestone possible. We shall continue to dedicate our efforts in improving our products and services to ensure total customer satisfaction for every Toyota customer.”
