There is no stopping Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. (NMPI) to reveal the all-new Nissan X-Trail CVT last June 4, 2010 not even the turbulent weather.

Commencing the ceremony, there are acrobatic dancers performing to define that tough is here to rock. The center stage was transformed into a paved way for the X-Trail. Taking everyone by surprise, the might SUV was driven down until the end of the platform. Without caring much of the slim width of the stage, Nissan X-Trail CVT marvelously has been welcomed by everyone with applause.

Proudly anchoring the Filipinos, the all new X-Trail is a completely knock-down (CKD) vehicle that anchored a world class quality.

“The new X-Trail 2.5 liter features the XCVT (or the Xtronic Continuous Variable Transmission) giving you a stress-free “no-shift-shock” for that driving comfort to help you enjoy the drive even in tough terrains” according to the NMPI President and CEO, Mr. Allen Chen.

This XCVT transmission elevates into a better fuel efficient vehicle without compromising the powerful performance.

Comes hand in hand, the QR25DE engine designed to work quietly which lessens the noise vibration. Even when the rolling gets tough, the pleasant ride shall not perish.

Inspite of the resemblance of the exterior frame to the earlier model, it does not mean the designer failed to express newness. On the contrary, the design came up to maintain the tough image X-Trail has been known. Rather, the focus is to improve the functionality oriented features.

All new X-Trail will come into 2 variants:

Nissan X-Trail CVT 2.5 2WD

Nissan X-Trail CVT 2.5 4WD

The all new Nissan X-Trail will be available in all Nissan Dealers nationwide starting June 12. Retail price is set at Php 1.350M for the 2.5L 2WD variant and Php1.550M for the 2.5L 4wD variant.

This is not the end of 2010 surprise from NMPI. Confirmed by Mr. Chen, NMPI will have another new model to add in their line-up soon.
