911 GT2 RS: Blazing Fast!

911 GT2 RS

Porsche
wasn’t contented with their already monstrous 523bhp twin-turbo six 911 GT2 (A.K.A.  The Widowmaker), so they went on to build the even more frighting 911 GT2 RS!

The 911 GT2 RS produces 611bhp, is rear-wheeled, and goes from standstill to 124mph in under 10 seconds! That’s a power-to-weight ratio of 435bhp per tonne.

The GT2 RS benefits from an increase in boost pressure to the GT2’s 3.6-litre twin turbo engine, and includes carbon fiber parts like the front and rear spoilers, bonnet and rear arch vents to lessen it’s weight.

The GT2 RS is relatively more Earth-friendly than the GT2 despite the increase in power, emitting just 284g/km of CO2.

Only 500 GT2 RS will be produced and will cost about £164,000. £33,000 more than the GT2. Ouch!
